The historic German side will compete in the Gordon Jago Super Group, Under 14 Boys, and Under 17 Girls divisions
DALLAS, Texas (Tuesday, Dec. 10) – Dallas Cup, the oldest and most prestigious international youth soccer tournament in North America, is thrilled to welcome back Eintracht Frankfurt for the 2025 Dallas Cup presented by Coca-Cola. The historic Bundesliga side will once again compete in three divisions: the U19 Gordon Jago Super Group, the U14 Boys division, and the U17 Girls division. The 2025 Dallas Cup presented by Coca-Cola will be played April 13 through April 20.
Eintracht Frankfurt returns to the U19 Gordon Jago Super Group for a second consecutive year, aiming to add a second Super Group title to their record. In 2011, The Eagles were crowned co-champions of the Super Group after extreme weather conditions cut the championship match against Tigres short. As the 2025 Gordon Jago Super Group begins to take shape, Eintracht Frankfurt joins defending Super Group champions São Paulo FC (Brazil) and 2023 champion FC Midtjylland (Denmark), who were previously announced. A total of 12 elite teams from top professional clubs and national federations worldwide will compete for the iconic “Boot & Ball” trophy next April.
In addition to their Super Group ambitions, Eintracht Frankfurt looks to defend their title in the U14 Boys division, a category they have dominated in recent years, hoisting the “Boot & Ball” trophy in 2019, 2022, and 2024. Meanwhile, the U17 Girls team is determined to go one step further after a runner-up finish last year.
Last year’s tournament marked Eintracht Frankfurt’s 20th anniversary at the Dallas Cup, a milestone that underscores the club’s enduring commitment to the tournament. Since debuting in 2004, they have become a fixture at the tournament, missing only two editions in their illustrious history. Over the years, they have clinched an impressive seven "Boot & Ball" championship trophies across multiple age groups, solidifying their reputation as one of Dallas Cup’s elite competitors.
Eintracht Frankfurt’s commitment to the Dallas Cup extends beyond their on-field success. The club has consistently embraced the tournament’s core values of community engagement. Last year, Eintracht’s Super Group team visited Feed My Starving Children, while the U14 Boys team conducted a clinic at John Quincy Adams Elementary School, demonstrating their dedication to making a positive impact in the Dallas community.
The 2025 Dallas Cup will be played from April 13 through April 20. As it prepares for the 46th edition of the tournament in 2025, the Dallas Cup continues to build on the remarkable legacy established since its inception in 1980. With the recent acquisition of the Dallas International Girls Cup, the tournament is poised to significantly expand in scope and size, as both the boys and girls brackets will now feature U10 through U19 age divisions.
The application window for teams remains open. Fans and teams can learn more about the tournament by visiting www.DallasCup.org or following @dallascup on social media.
