Toyota Stadium Championships – Sunday, April 20

Gordon Jago Super Group Final The final match of the 2025 Dallas Cup presented by Coca-Cola featured a marquee all-Brazilian showdown, as defending Gordon Jago Super Group champions São Paulo FC faced off against fellow Brazilian side Botafogo at Toyota Stadium. Botafogo wasted no time in taking the lead as they chased their first Gordon Jago Super Group title in their third trip to Dallas. In just the 5th minute, a long ball over the top found Kayke, who outpaced the São Paulo defense and calmly chipped the goalkeeper to give Botafogo an early 1-0 advantage. The match remained 1-0 into the second half before Felipe Januário doubled the lead in the 48th minute, finishing off a well-placed cross from Kauan Toledo. Just seven minutes later, Bernardo Valim delivered a stunning third goal, firing a powerful strike from about 26 yards out that took the wind out of the defending champions’ sails. Botafogo’s defense remained impenetrable for the remainder of the match, anchored by standout performance from central defensive midfielder Justino, who controlled the midfield and broke up São Paulo’s attacking rhythm throughout the day. The final whistle sounded with Botafogo claiming a 3-0 victory and hoisting the club’s first Gordon Jago Super Group Boot & Ball trophy. Following the match, Justino was named the Coca-Cola MVP for his performance.

Under 17 Boys Final The action at Toyota Stadium on Sunday kicked off with the Under 17 Boys Final, featuring a matchup between Solar SC Academy 08B and Real Colorado Academy 08B. In the 13th minute, Ryder Balch opened the scoring for Solar SC. After a shot from teammate Bennett Kerr ricocheted off the post, the ball deflected kindly into Balch’s path, and he guided it into the net to give the Solar side a 1-0 lead. The next goal of the match did not come until the 82nd minute, when Solar’s Tyler Bolton delivered the decisive blow. After a loose ball deflected to the edge of the 18-yard box, Bolton stepped up and rifled a stunning left-footed shot into the back of the net to double Solar's lead. Solar’s strong team defense held firm the rest of the way, preserving the clean sheet as the local side hoisted the U17 Boys Boot & Ball trophy.

Under 18 Boys Final The Under 18 Boys championship match featured a North Texas showdown between DKSC 07B ECNL and Solar SC 07/08 ECNL. The opening goal came in the 12th minute, as Christian Samaripa delivered a perfectly weighted ball into the box for Ethan Roemisch, who squeezed a shot past the keeper to give DKSC an early 1-0 lead. In the 26th minute, Nicolas Angulo doubled the advantage with a beautiful curling shot that soared into the top right corner of the net, giving DKSC a 2-0 lead. DKSC 07B ECNL controlled the match comfortably the rest of the way and were crowned the Under 18 Boys champions at the 2025 Dallas Cup presented by Coca-Cola.

Under 19 Boys Final

Following the Under 18 Boys Final, the Under 19 Boys championship match took center stage at Toyota Stadium, as Northern Ireland Football League (NIFL) Scholarship Select faced off against Everton Football College in an international clash. The opening goal came in the 21st minute, when Northern Ireland’s Tiernan Brolly broke free behind the Everton defense and calmly slotted a shot into the right side of the net to give NIFL Select a 1-0 lead. The match carried into the second half, with the English side pushing for an equalizer, but the breakthrough never came. At the final whistle, Northern Ireland Football League Select hoisted the U19 Boot & Ball trophy, becoming the first champion from Northern Ireland in Dallas Cup history.
