Looking to defend their title after winning the U15 Girls division in 2024, FC Dallas struck first. Following a dangerous cross into the box, the ball deflected around the crowded penalty area before finding the foot of Layla Iglesias, who calmly slotted home the opening goal in the 32nd minute. The match remained 1-0 until the 68th minute, when Sophie Preston padded the lead with a late goal to give FC Dallas a two-goal cushion. The final whistle sounded, and FC Dallas ECNL G09 hoisted the Boot & Ball trophy for the second consecutive year.
Under 16 Boys Final Following the U16 Girls Final, the boys took center stage at Toyota Stadium as Imperial SC 09B NLFC faced off against DKSC 09B ECNL in the U16 Boys Final. It did not take long for DKSC to find the scoresheet. In the 5th minute, a well-rehearsed set piece allowed Jett Harrison to fire a shot on goal, which ricocheted off an Imperial SC defender and into the back of the net for the opening goal of the match. Nearing halftime, the DKSC duo of Ethan Goldman and Blake Kendrick each found the back of the net with goals in the 37th and 40th minutes, respectively, to extend the lead. Coming out of the halftime break, DKSC continued their relentless attack, as Jon-Paul Ekadi headed home a fourth goal for the local side to make it 4-0. In stoppage time, Sam Illescas capped off the dominant performance with a headed goal of his own. In an impressive display from start to finish, DKSC 09B ECNL cruised to a 5-0 win and lifted the U16 Boys Boot & Ball championship trophy.
Under 17 Girls Final At 1:00 p.m., the Under 17 Girls Final kicked off with another North Texas clash, as FC Dallas ECNL G08 faced off against Sting SC Black ECNL G08. Coming out of the break, Sting’s Leah Simpson broke the deadlock in the 48th minute, connecting on a shot from well outside the box that tucked inside the left post. In the 77th minute, FC Dallas' Halley Jewell brought the match level, finishing off a crafty volley to make it 1-1. At the end of regulation, the match remained tied, sending the final to penalty kicks. In a dramatic shootout, Sting SC Black ECNL G08 outlasted the FC Dallas side 7-6 to capture the 2025 Dallas Cup presented by Coca-Cola Under 17 Girls championship.
Under 18 Girls Final
Following the thrilling Under 17 Girls Final, attention turned to the Under 18 Girls division, where Dallas Texans ECNL G07/06 faced off against DKSC ECNL-RL G07/06.
