About the Dallas Cup
Homestay Program
The most rewarding experience of every Dallas Cup is the HomeStay Program. Visiting international team players are hosted by local Dallas soccer families. The HomeStay Program is only for international teams from outside the North American continent unless otherwise determined by the Dallas Cup.​
All local teams that accept the invitation to participate in the Dallas Cup are required to: (1) provide HomeStay arrangements for an international team. The majority of the international teams will arrive on the Friday before the tournament begins and depart on the Monday morning after the conclusion of the tournament. There may be occasions where the international team may have to arrive earlier and/or stay later in order to secure a significantly cheaper airfare. All individuals (18 and older) that are involved with the Dallas Cup HomeStay Program will be required to complete the necessary paperwork for a Criminal Background Check; (2) provide a minimum of 80 man hours of volunteer work prior to and/or during the tournament week in the event the international team does not arrive or if for any reason an international team is not assigned for HomeStay. Not fulfilling this criteria may result in the invitation to participate being revoked by the Dallas Cup.

Host Family Expectations
All host families are expected to provide the following to their players:
Transportation
Meals
Accomodations
Sleeping arrangements and bathroom/shower access for international players
Two meals per day
Transportation to and from the international team's designated meeting point for their daily team activities
International Team Requirements
International teams wishing to participate in the Homestay Program must:

Designate on 2025 tournament application that you would like to be part of the homestay program

Player release form for each participating international player

Club release form signed by authorized club member
Provide the name of an English speaking contact and an email address, 24 hour phone number, and 24 hour fax number for necessary communication with the host team
